Our Projects
Cocoa Alkalization Reactor – Food Industry (Uruguay)
CHALLENGE: The client needed to double production capacity to meet cocoa powder demand while maintaining the quality standard of their original European machinery.
SOLUTION: Engineering of a 4 m³ process reactor designed for controlled alkalization and vacuum drying. The large-scale system integrates intensifier choppers and precise thermal control to preserve the cocoa’s organoleptic profile.
RESULT: A 100% increase in production volume was achieved, delivering alkalized powder with intense color, perfect solubility, and export-grade quality.
Botanical Extract Processing Plant – (Chile)
CHALLENGE: The client, a leader in plant biotechnology (Quillaja), needed to scale up its industrial production to replace the use of chemicals in animal and plant health. The challenge was to achieve intimate powder mixing with liquid injection in large-volume batches, while maintaining a strict sanitary standard to prevent cross-contamination.
SOLUTION: Engineering of a complete “Turnkey” production line. The core is a 6,000-liter Paddle Mixer with a heating jacket and four intensifier choppers to break up agglomerates. The full peripheral system was integrated: screw conveyors for loading/unloading and an automated liquid dosing skid.
RESULT: A fully enclosed and automated process with a high-end sanitary finish (Mirror Polish, Grit 320). The client succeeded in standardizing export batches, eliminating manual variability and reducing cleaning times.
Spice and Seasoning Blending Plant – (Dominican Republic)
CHALLENGE: The client, a leader in the food sector, needed to optimize the production of its seasonings (salt, sugar, and spice bases). The challenge was to achieve homogeneous distribution of liquid additives over the base powder without generating lumps or clumping, while maintaining high productivity.
SOLUTION: Engineering of a 1,500-liter Paddle Mixer built in 316L stainless steel for maximum sanitation. The equipment integrates a liquid injection system via spray nozzles and two high-speed choppers that instantly dissolve any agglomerates during mixing.
RESULT: A free-flowing final product with uniform flavor. The system included automated loading and unloading via screw conveyors, eliminating manual handling and increasing line throughput.
